e-mail: [email protected] "Stars of the Commonwealth" will be awarded at the Bolshoi Theatre The "Stars of the Commonwealth" award ceremony will take place at the Bolshoi Theatre Beethoven Hall on April 17th at 5 p.m. (Moscow, Theatre square, 1). "Stars of the Commonwealth" is the CIS main humanitarian award. Outstanding scientists, artists, actors and public figures from 8 CIS countries, including Boris Paton, an academician of the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, Oleg Tabakov, the artistic director of the Moscow Art Theatre, Omar Eldarov, The People's Artist of Azerbaijan, and other distinguished scientists and cultural workers became the laureates of "Stars of the Commonwealth"-2014. The Intergovernmental award "Stars of the Commonwealth" was founded by the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council for Humanitarian Cooperation and the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation of the CIS in 2009. The award has been given out annually for most prominent achievements in the area of science and education, culture and art and humanitarian activity.
