19 February 2015, ThursdayVintage photography became the theme for one of the first digital exhibitions of The Bolshoi Museum at Google Cultural Institute. The Bolshoi Museum collection of photographs and negatives is absolutely unique. Back in 19th century the Office of the Moscow Imperial Theatres engaged the best Moscow photographers who were very proud of their status for which they had to compete quite fiercely. The best works from these days are represented at the exhibition: great artists of past, costume portraits and scenes from the performances from 1960 till 1911.
