05 March 2015, Thursday

12 years ago choreographer Radu Poklitaru and stage director Declan Donnellan presented their vision of "Romeo and Juliet" to The Bolshoi audience. This time they will translate another William Shakespeare's tragedy - "Hamlet" - to the language of dance.

"Our performance first of all tells about the loss and how unfortunately human beings are created. Because we all have really hard times dealing with our loss, especially the loss of our dearest ones." - said Poklitaru.

Prince of Denmarke will deal with his loss and answer the sacral question "To be or not to be?" with the music by Dmitry Shostakovich. Just one week left till the premiere!
