Bolshoi Balletmaster- repetiteur Boris Akimov has been awarded with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon. Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Fumio Kishida made a note of Akimov's outstanding contribution in world ballet progress and wished him continued good health and happiness.

Congratulations to an amazing artist and pedagogue!
