18 January 2017, WednesdayJanuary, 12 "Swan Lake" performance on the Historical stage was dedicated to the anniversary of its first staging. The most popular ballet of all times, which has been created specifically for The Bolshoi and then took over the world, turned 140 years! Though this ballet as a choreographic masterpiece made it into history with a staging by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, but for the very first time it has been staged at The Bolshoi, for which Pyotr Tchaikovsky created his famous score.
